What is nerd processor?

I love telling stories with data. Data storytelling is my lens on the world. I especially love working with language data.

When I was an academic linguist, I was a literal word processor. Later on, I spent much of my tech career building software word processors.

And let's face it: I am a bit of a nerd. A nerd who loves word play!

What is this photography?

Long ago, I had a blog where I drew a comic to go with every post. I'm a better writer than visual artist, but I found big joy in drawing the comics. I'm a word person first and foremost, but we all have multiple dimensions.

A few years ago, I started including my photography in my articles. I carry that forward here. All the pictures on this site are mine or my husband's!
